- Pick the sessions you want and pay for your seat through the sign-up link.
- Make a character on D&D Beyond before your first session. If you are new, email Andy and he will help.
- Arrive on time for your session.
Two short videos walk through making a character: D&D Beyond character video, part 1 and part 2.
What a session is like
Each session is an adventure built to finish in one evening, with challenges matched to the party's level. Expect a mix of combat, role play and puzzles in a small group. Come with your dice and your character ready on D&D Beyond. A Player's Handbook helps but is not required. A phone or tablet works fine.
Everyone at the table follows the State of Comics game rules. You can share feedback about any session through the feedback form.
Cancellations and refunds
- You can move to a different session up to 24 hours before your session starts.
- For a refund, cancel at least 72 hours before your session.
- Cancellations within 24 hours, and no-shows, cannot be refunded or moved to another session.
Homeschool groups
Andy also runs regular sessions for homeschool students, with separate groups for younger and older kids. Andy has a background in education. The games give students supervised time together. They also build critical thinking. If your homeschool group or organization would like sessions, email Andy.
